7th Annual Intellectual Property Law Career Day: Saturday, April 13, 9:00am to 12:00pm, EDU 1111, EDU 1131, and the California Room (Law Library): Learn about IP Law, career opportunities in IP law, and make connections with IP lawyers from Southern California law firms. All students interested in IP law are welcome to register in LEO.

New York State Bar Association Committee on Animals and the Law: 2024 Student Writing Competition: Submit an article concerning any area of Animal Law. Prizes include $1,000 and a certificate of achievement for first place, $500 and a certificate of achievement for second place, and a certificate of recognition for the third and fourth place winners. All winning entries will have the opportunity to be published in the Committee’s “Laws & Paws” publication. Review the rules and submit your application by July 5. 

Orange County Women Lawyers Association (OCWLA): Bar Stipend Award: This award is given to the student(s) that best exemplifies the mission of OCWLA, and a commitment to scholarship, community service, advancement of women or women's issues, financial need, and to Orange County. Apply by April 20. 

1Ls: Law Scholarships: Scholars are awarded an increase of up to $10,000 on their current UCI Law scholarship. The deadline to apply for the scholarships below is April 26:

2Ls: Early Bar Prep Workshop, Wednesday, April 3, 12:15pm to 1:00pm, EDU 1111: Join ASP for their early bar prep workshop, “Planning Your 3L Year.” ASP will provide (1) an overview of the bar exam and (2) guidance on 3L course planning with an eye towards bar prep. Lunch will be provided! RSVP here by Monday, April 1 at 11:59pm if you plan on attending.

2024 Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association (SCCLA) Mentorship Program: This program is dedicated to strengthening our pool of excellent attorneys and judicial officers by fostering meaningful connections among law students and attorneys. Participants will have opportunities to provide and receive valuable mentorship from peers, attorneys, and judicial officers. Apply by April 5.
