New Announcements and Deadlines

Spring 2025 Enrollment Windows:

3Ls: Tuesday, November 19, 7:00am
2Ls: Wednesday, November 20, 7:00am
LLMs: Thursday, November 21, 7:00am
General Enrollment: Friday, November 22, 9:00am - Bid courses with open seats will be available to all and restrictions will be removed.

Important Information: Look for emails in the next few weeks from the Dean Kyle Jones and Registrar Tera Holmes, regarding the spring course catalog and registration updates.

1Ls: Mandatory Counseling Session: Students must meet with their CDO counselor by Wednesday, November 27. 

Fall Study Breaks: Take a break from studying and taking finals for the following activities in the law courtyard:

Monday, December 2, 12:00pm to 1:00pm - Snacks Day 
Wednesday, December 4, 12:00pm to 1:00pm - "Pause for Paws" Therapy Dogs Visit

1Ls: Moot Court Fellow and Bailiff Opportunity: Students interested in participating in the Moot Court Competition as a Fellow or Bailiff must apply by Friday, December 6. Refer to Dr. J's 11/7 email for further details, including how to apply.

National District Attorneys Association 2025 Job Fair: February 1 and 2; Washington, DC:  Students seeking entry-level or internship opportunities should register by Friday, January 24.

1Ls: Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD): Success in Law School Mentoring Program: This mentoring program is available to diverse students, providing them with personalized mentoring from attorneys at the most prestigious law firms and corporate legal departments. Register by Monday, November 18.

Orange County Hispanic Bar Association (HBA)The following scholarships are open for students of Latino origin who are involved in the Latino community, particularly students with significant ties to Orange County.

  • 1Ls and 2Ls: Wally Davis ScholarshipAll materials must be postmarked by November 30.
  • 3Ls: Bar Stipend: All materials must be postmarked by March 31 for the July Bar Exam.
