Meet Hanna:
Hi y’all! A little about me: I was raised in Austin, TX and graduated from UT Austin in 2021 with a degree in Biology and a minor in Philosophy. I grew up in a family of small business owners, which sparked my interest in intellectual property law and my desire to advocate for the perspectives and innovations of technical creators. This background, combined with my love for analytical writing, ultimately led me to switch from pre-med to pre-law later in my undergraduate career.
Coming to law school with no prior ties to Southern California, I’ve found the students, professors, and administration at UC Irvine Law to be incredibly welcoming and supportive. From trying new restaurants during study breaks to taking surfing lessons at Newport Beach, my classmates truly made 1L Fall not only bearable but genuinely fun (shocking, I know!).
As a first-generation college and law student, I understand how daunting/stressful the law school application and admissions process can be. If you have any questions or just want to chat, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
