Meet Sydney:

Hi! I chose to become an Admission Ambassador as a way to support the school that has given so much to me already! UC Irvine Law has provided countless opportunities for me to grow and explore my interests. I truly feel as though I landed in the right place and thankful for the friends and colleagues UC Irvine has introduced me to.

I applied to UC Irvine because of the pro bono program and still list the program as one of the highlights of my experience. First semester, I had the chance to work on an immigration case to assist in the green card application. It was a great experience to assist in real legal work, while helping someone at a pivotal point in their life. This semester, I am starting my pro bono project with the OC Public Defenders Office while taking criminal law this semester.

Additionally, UC Irvine Law students are able to explore many interests outside of school and start our own clubs! This semester I started a surf club for people of all skill levels. It has been a great chance to meet new people and explore the nearby area!

I am thankful for the chance to explore interests both within the legal field and in my personal life while at UC Irvine. The school allows us to become well-balance scholars with unique and differing interests.
