Meet Mika:
Hey everyone! I'm Mika, a first-gen college grad and law student. My path to law school was unconventional—I spent five years in the professional world before diving into academia. Choosing UC Irvine was influenced by the invaluable advice of current students, who painted a picture of a supportive and collaborative environment, a description that has proven true since my arrival.
At UC Irvine, professors and peers defy the competitive stereotype, offering a welcoming and collaborative atmosphere. My goal is to specialize in commercial litigation or labor and employment law while advocating for diversity in the legal realm. With my background, I deeply value diverse perspectives and aim to empower others to have their voices heard.
I can't wait to extend a warm welcome to new students and assist them in navigating the application process, inviting them to join the vibrant UC Irvine community!
