Meet Alyssa:
Hello! I was born and raised in the Bay Area but moved to Southern California in 2020 for college and law school. While I love the perfect weather, beautiful beaches, and constant bustle here, the Bay Area will always be home, and I hope to return after graduation.
I’m a K-JD student who graduated from UCLA with a double major in Political Science and Asian American Studies. My time at UCLA deepened my understanding of my identity, history, and the law’s impact on society. These experiences drew me to the UC Irvine School of Law, a school that is deeply committed to innovation, public service, and inclusive excellence.
Despite being new to UC Irvine Law, I’ve already found a strong sense of community. I’m grateful to be part of the Public Interest Law Fund, Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, First Generation Professionals, and the Business Law Society—all of which have helped me navigate law school and feel at home.
Outside of class, you can usually find me exploring new study cafes, grabbing Omomo with friends, or binge-watching the latest reality TV series. I also love being active, trying new things, and always make time at the end of the day for self-care.
As a first-generation law student, I know how overwhelming the law school process can be. If you ever have questions or just want to chat, feel free to reach out!
