Meet Amanda:
Hi! I'm a K-JD student who graduated from UCLA last summer. While there, I received a B.A. in History with a Minor in Art History. I had always planned on going to law school, and it feels surreal to be here.
I've really enjoyed my time at UC Irvine Law thus far. The school's approach is unique to many other law schools, and as a result, it has a friendly and collaborative feel. In fact, I have met some of my closest friends here.
In my free time, I enjoy painting, podcasts, and spending time with my two dogs. I mostly paint nature scenes and invoke a Bob Ross mentality when I make mistakes- they're just ""happy accidents."" My favorite types of podcasts are true crime with my favorite podcast being Crime Junkie. Finally, I have a Great Dane and a Labradoodle, and their names are Apollo and Beau.
As a first-generation college student and a first-generation professional, I understand how difficult the transition to law school can be. That's why I'm excited to help you however I can. Please feel free to reach out with any questions about the admissions process or 1L year!
