Hi! My name is Ivy Koester, and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA.
Personal fun facts: You can usually find me outside on a walk during the lunch hour or chatting it up with my friends. Two things I cannot live without are my Xbox and The Amazing Race. I will find any excuse to bring up my new obsessions in conversations (currently, it's The Amazing Race). My hobbies include: Swimming, Rock climbing, Cosplay, Reading, Sewing, Gaming (video and board), being outside, and being at the beach
Scholastic fun facts: I commute daily from Los Angeles (it's not as scary as you think!). I am a firm believer in believing in yourself because, let's be honest, you've gotten this far! I am a part of a combined eight pro bono projects and school clubs, and they are all fabulous!
Why I love UC Irvine Law: There is a place for everyone here to be happy and successful. Law school can feel intimidating, and trying to fit in while also doing well can be a struggle. But, from my experience and what I have seen, UC Irvine will make sure you have the tools to do well. Also, UC Irvine admits other great students like you, with whom you will be great friends. Not to mention, every professor I've had has been great at their job. On the bad days and good days, you will feel like you belong here. In my opinion, if you're going to make a three-year commitment, you should commit to somewhere where you can be happy and become a great lawyer.
