UCI Law Hosts 9th Annual Supreme Court Term in Review

UCI Law hosted the 9th Annual Supreme Court Term in Review sponsored by TorkLaw on Monday, July 8. The exciting program featuring an all-star panelist of Supreme Court jurists, journalists and legal scholars drew a crowd of hundreds to the Irvine Barclay Theatre.
This year’s panelists included Jonathan Adler, Johan Verheij Memorial Professor of Law, Case Western Reserve University School of Law; Erwin Chemerinsky, Dean and Jesse H. Choper Distinguished Professor of Law, Berkeley Law; Chris Geidner, Senior Advisor for Law and Policy, The Justice Collaborative; Michele Goodwin, Chancellor's Professor, UCI Law; and Sarah Harrington, Partner, Goldstein & Russell, P.C. Richard Hasen, Chancellor’s Professor of Law and Political Science, served as moderator.
The event covered a wide range of topics, including partisan gerrymandering, reproductive rights, LGBTQ rights, the census citizenship question, due process, administrative law, the death penalty, and the ideological split among Supreme Court justices.
