UCI Law alum Samrah Mahmoud Accepts Public Law Center's "Law Firm of the Year" Award
The University of California, Irvine School of Law (UCI Law) is delighted to announce that UCI Law alum Samrah Mahmoud ('12) has accepted the Public Law Center's (PLC) Law Firm of the Year Award on behalf of Troutman Pepper.
Mahmoud, who is a partner at Troutman Pepper and serves on the PLC's Board of Directors, accepted the "Law Firm of the Year" Award from the Public Law Center at its annual Volunteers for Justice event.
"We believe strongly in the Public Law Center's mission to provide access to justice for low-income and vulnerable residents in Orange County," Mahmoud said. "The staff attorneys at PLC are wonderful partners and helped to guide us through the rewarding work. It is an honor and a privilege to be able to work with them."
In addition to Samrah, Troutman Pepper’s UCI Law alums Sheila Chen (’15), Robyn Lin (’21), Stephanie Phan (’18) and Andrick Zeen (’20), volunteered with PLC in 2021.
