Updated Media Advisory: UCI Law Presents "COVID-19 & The Law" -- A Virtual Public Lecture Series
IRVINE, Calif. (June 10, 2020) — The University of California, Irvine School of Law (UCI Law) will host a virtual public lecture series titled, “COVID-19 & The Law.” The last two lectures of the six-part series will be held on Tuesday, June 16 and on Thursday, June 25.
WHAT: The series of webinars will feature UCI Law faculty, and Board of Visitors members as they explore critical legal issues that emerge from this global pandemic. The previous sessions were recorded and are available as podcasts and videos.
WHO & WHEN: Speakers, and the dates of their discussions, include the following:
- “Lessons from the CARES Act: Banking for All in the Time of COVID-19”

Presented by Robert “Bob” Solomon, Clinical Professor of Law
Thursday, June 25, 12:00-1:00 p.m.
WHERE: This is a virtual public lecture series, events will be held via Zoom Webinar.
MORE: Each event is approved for 1.0 hour(s) of Minimum Continuing Legal Education Credit by the State Bar of California, except for the talk on Tuesday, May 19. UCI Law is a State Bar-approved MCLE provider.
