For the fourth year, UC Irvine Law is honored to once again host an esteemed group of scholars from Seoul National University's Graduate School of Public Administration. This year's program, titled "Leadership in the Digital Age," will welcome thirty scholars from to engage in a series of lectures led by UC Irvine faculty and other leading scholars.

Join us for the Korea Law Center Spring Symposium 2026! This year's theme, Trade, Technology, and U.S.-Korean Legal Relations, brings together scholars, practitioners, and students to explore how emerging technologies are shaping legal systems, cross-border collaboration, and the evolving relationship between the United States and Korea. The symposium will feature engaging discussions on current legal issues at the intersection of trade and technology, as well as insights into career pathways that bridge U.S. and Korean legal practice. Through expert panels and community dialogue, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of both the challenges and opportunities arising in this changing legal landscape.

Korea Law Center Spring Symposium 2025

Join us for the Korea Law Center Spring Symposium 2025! Morning sessions will feature a keynote address from The Honorable Richard Lee and student research presentations from the Korea Law Center’s Korean Lawyers in America Project (KLAP) team. Afternoon sessions include a special presentation on the South Korean presidential impeachment and recent Korean Law practice-related developments.
Korea University School of Law Summer Exchange Program

As part of our ongoing partnership initiatives with Korea University School of Law, UC Irvine School of Law was honored to host three law students from Korea University School of Law (KU Law) this summer. These students were selected from a highly competitive pool of students to participate in a 4-week legal academic and experiential program at UC Irvine School of Law. Students participated in lectures, visits to the Superior Court of Orange County, and meetings with UCI Law faculty, staff, and attorneys in our community.
