Call for Abstracts & Papers
The Center for Biotechnology and Global Health Policy at the University of California, Irvine School of Law welcomes the submission of abstracts and papers for the 10th Anniversary Baby Markets Congress to be held April 1-3, 2016, at the University of California at Irvine.
The Baby Markets International Congress welcome you to submit an abstract for our 2016 meeting. Abstracts may engage any of the selected Congress themes listed below. Congress organizers will also consider abstracts that engage vibrant, cutting edge ideas in family law, international law, human rights, and rights of the child.
All abstracts must be submitted by January 31, 2016. Abstracts should not exceed 250 words.
Submissions will be vetted by the Organizing Committee.
Authors may be invited to submit a paper for publication. If you are interested in submitting a full manuscript length paper for publication consideration, please mark the designated box on the abstract submission form. The Organizing Committee will choose a select number of proceedings from the Congress for publication in UC Irvine Law Review. Papers may also be accepted for the Second Edition of Professor Michele Goodwin’s Baby Markets volume.
For those who would like to submit manuscripts for publication, final papers will be due February 15, 2016 with no extensions provided.
Poster Submissions
Original, primary work reflecting Congress Themes may be submitted for poster presentations. PLEASE NOTE: If you would like to present a poster at the Baby Markets International Congress, please identify this information clearly at the top of your abstract and check the designated box on the abstract submission form. All posters must be accompanied by a 750-1000 word paper. Selected posters will be presented during the Congress.
PLEASE NOTE: All accepted papers and poster presentations will require authors to register for the Congress. Failure to register for the Congress will result in the withdrawal of the submitted work.
