12th Annual Supreme Court Term in Review
July 6, 2022 | 10:00-11:30 AM
UCI School of Law in collaboration with Ms. magazine proudly hosts the 2022 Supreme Court Term in Review, moderated by Chancellor’s Professor Michele Goodwin.
Perhaps not since Brown v. Board of Education or Roe v. Wade has there been a more reported or anticipated Supreme Court term. From Free Speech to the Second Amendment, COVID mandates, and reproductive rights, this has been a term like no other. This event marks the twelfth year of the program and will showcase leading constitutional law scholars, authors, and journalists, including Dean Erwin Chemerinsky (Berkeley Law), Mark Joseph Stern (Slate magazine), Regina Mahone (The Nation), and Professors Mary Ziegler (frequent contributor to The Atlantic), Mary Anne Franks (author of the award-winning book: The Cult of the Constitution) and Professor Aziza Ahmed—constitutional and criminal law expert. This Supreme Court term is unlike any other in more than fifty years.
This event is approved for 1.5 hours of MCLE credit by the State Bar of California. UCI School of Law is a State Bar-approved MCLE provider. To receive MCLE credit for livestream/remote participation, please email events@law.uci.edu in advance of the event with your name and bar number.
